I'm a little slow getting the word out this time... I felt a bit smited after losing a baby so early last summer. Now we're 9 weeks along and going strong! We had a doctor's appointment a few weeks ago where we got to see an ultrasound of the little one and it's precious heart beating away. Doctor say's this one is going to be just fine! Yay! So a new baby Ervin is on the way. He or she (which yes, we are going to find out the sex this time... booo...) should arrive mid-March-ish. There are conflicting dates right now based on the little one's size and my cycle, so we shall see as the time get's closer. Doctor say's March 22. Oh yeah, which reminds me, anyone have any experience with VBAC? Doc say's no, but that in all honesty he's trying to cover his butt against malpractice. Hmph. I'm not looking forward to the long and painful recovery of another caesarian, yet at least I know what to expect with a caesarian birth. I
think I'd rather try VBAC, since this is probably my last baby and I will have a two-year old Josie to contend with as I'm recovering. I don't know. Anyone's thoughts, opinions or professional opinions are greatly appreciated on that one!
Here's a pic of the little lima bean in his or hear glory! It's kinda more like an inkblot test at this point. What do you see here?

First off - Congrats, Rox! I bet the Ervins are just super excited.
As far as C-sec, my next one (if I decide Grace will get a sibling), will be C-sec, again. I personally have read more about the VBAC's not being highly recommended (I hear malpractice too), but mostly for health reasons. Something about how more dangerous it is with the muscles and such down there. (I think something like that).
Of course, it's you and Rob's choice with your Dr. I think they charge more too for VBAC.
Yay! Congratulations Ervins!!!!
I see an eggplant and I don't know what a VBAC is.
I can't wait to share the news at DAG!
