Somebody Pinch Me

The last few days have been so awesome. Thursday, I got to finally check out the salon I've been salivating over for the last year or so, Bang. Though it was everything I had imagined, I don't think I'm quite cool enough to be a regular client. I got a fantastic haircut, and added some fun blue color on the sides. The blue was supposed to be purple, though and I haven't quite made up my mind if I should go back and ask to have it fixed or not. What do you think? Here's the outside of the salon, just to show how stinkin cool it is.

And here's the hair.

We attended our fabulous church marriage conference thursday through this afternoon. It was emotionally draining, exhausting, and wonderful. It was the fourth one we've attended and maybe the best one yet. Probably because Rob and I have worked through a lot of our issues and didn't have many surprises this year. When we checked in to the conference we were informed that we had reserved, front row seating. Shocking. It was awesome to be so close. We're pretty sure we got the seats because Rob works as a watchman at church. I was convinced someone knew all about our testimony and was going to make us share it. -I can be so paranoid. And while I really do want to share it one day and help others, I'm not quite ready for that. We won a $500 credit at a matress store during the raffle and we are sooo stoked. We've never had a brand new bed and are way over due. And we stayed at a nice hotel which we booked on Priceline and got an even cheaper rate than we thought, once we checked in! Oh, aaand it snowed. Beautiful, gigantic flakes lastnight. Here's a few pics of it all though, I didn't do it justice with my tiny little point and shoot camera. Rob's was at home. Bummer.

The "view" from our window. Tried to capture the snow.

And this is us with Apostles Ron and Hope. Aren't they just a gorgeous couple? Yes, Rob's blinking. It's what he does. I think he does it on purpose hoping that one day I'll give up and stop trying to get him in pictures all together. Well, this is the only shot we have of us with them so he's just going to have to deal with it!
It has been a wonderful weekend. Somebody pinch me.

Hey! Your hair looks awesome. Julie left Bang last week to go to To Dye For. Bang is nice, just to pricey for me. Even when I was getting a family discount. I like putting my feet up on the pillows when they wash my hair.
