It's official. After taking approximately 5 days of training I feel secure in calling myself a doula! I am so very excited. Words cannot express. Seriously. I'm short on words to express how excited I am about this adventure and blessing I am embarking on. I'm sure that after my head clears from all the information that's been crammed in there, I'll be able to do so. Maybe.

I must say, before the class I was all gung-ho about natural childbirth. Now I am simply dedicated to making childbirth be the best possible experience that the mommy-to-be wants to have, no matter what. I will empower, educate and advocate for her in whatever direction she chooses. Motherhood is such a splendid journey it simply must be started in a wonderful way.
How 'bout that? I came up with some words.
