#51- 56 (Am I Ever Going to Get to 1,000?)

#51 Forgiveness, cuz I ain't perfect, either.

#52 God's grace, Thank you, Jesus that I don't get what I deserve.

At this point in their lives my children still do as I say, and not as I do, for the most part. Road rage has become evident lately. I don't make ugly hand gestures or even use fowl language, but I do become very agitated and say things like, "Really!?" or "Are you SERIOUS?!" Toward other drivers. My oldest always points out that I seem to be losing my temper and when I try to explain the significance of the event, it doesn't really seem all that significant. Why do I allow these trivial things to really ruffle my feathers? I dunno. But I really must work on it.

#53 Friends. Going to see Eat, Pray, Love tonight! I am so excited. I think my favorite character from the book is her Texan friend. We'll see if that changes after I see the movie.

#54 Summer is almost over. Don't get me wrong, summer is great! But this summer has been just plain miserably hot. Not to mention my absolute favorite time of the year is about to start! I LOVE fall. I love Thanksgiving. I love Christmas. I even love February, because that's when it snows, if it's going to snow here in SC. Oh I'm excited just thinking about it!

#55 Mocha latte. Mmmmmm...

#56 Dishwashers. I haven't had a dishwasher in our own home since Josie was about 8 weeks old. I thank God just about every time I load that thing now. It even encourages me to cook more often. Yes, there were times in the past when we were sans dishwasher and I actually held back from baking just for the fun of it (I gasp just a little just thinking it's possible) when I didn't have a dishwasher. There's so much to clean up when you bake. Measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing bowls, etc. etc. Ick.
