Rob is okay. He's in a lot of pain, but he was given some serious Motrin and a "six-pack" of tylenol/codeine. Given that Sooby was practically a classic, she didn't have airbags, so he bit the steering wheel pretty hard. I'm sooooo glad he's okay.
Unfortunately, Sooby was our only vehicle. So, we're driving a rental, courtesy of the insurance company, for now. It's hard to say what our next move is. We had the minimum full-coverage insurance, and we only had that much because it's required to rent cars, which we did often for road trips down south. We have to wait and see how much damage was done to the Jeep first. Whatevers left will go toward replacing Sooby.
For those of you guys down south that weren't aware, we had a serious ice-storm Tuesday evening. That's why we had no power for two nights and two days. It was rough. Josie suffered greatly, as you can see here.
Yes, that's right, she's watching a battery operated DVD player. We have the DVD player for the aforementioned road trips down south (thank goodness for those, or we'd be in a lot of trouble, huh?) We were able to heat the house with our gas stove, and we still had hot water because of our gas water heater, so it really wasn't that bad. There were many in our area that just gave up and went to hotels for a few days. Not us. Nope. We're pioneers. Ha, ha.

Bummer Rox on the car! I'm so glad Rob was okay though. I hope you guys figure out a car situation soon.
Also, the ice storm. Gosh, I don't know how you guys deal with that... I'd be such a wimp in that type of atmosphere.
I really hope to see you guys soon! Rox, email me your phone numbers - I've lost all my numbers when I spilt beverage in my phone. mendysc@yahoo.com
